Hi guys, a couple of people have told me that taking the kaplan DAT class is helpful, but I cant afford it, what I can afford to do is purchase some books from the ~$1200 class, the lesson book, review notes, and flashcards, for those of you who took the class, was that all that was available? or were there more books? are the lesson book, review notes book and flash cards helpful and worth buying for like 70-100 bucks? please reply as soon as possible, thanks.

Ok, listen to me: Kaplan Bluebook
Those books are worthless without the other Kaplan material, online tests...

I understand you completely, I broke the bank for the course!! Let me know when you plan to study and I can probably give you my stuff since I'm taking soon (hopefully no retake!!!).

The Kaplan course uses the big Review Notes book, but that is supplemented with online materials...some you can get (idk if legally?) and some you can't. You can buy the review notes for like $50 online.

The review book alone will probably be good enough for both chems but not bio (it sucks for bio). I used AP Cliffs Biology, which is like $10, and does an amazing job IMO.

I would also suggest you get DAT Destroyer $150 for practice (it has all 3 science sections and math).

For practice tests, there are achiever and topscore (each have 3), both $50.

For PAT practice there is Crack DAT PAT, which is either $50 or $100 depending on how many practice tests you buy (5 or 10).

Hope this helps buddy!!
