I just completed the Kaplan Diagnostic test and got the following scores:
Bio: 19
Chem: 20
Ochem: 21
PAT: 19 (should not count cause they repeated some questions that I have seen before)
Bio:
Ok, so for bio there were some questions that I had no clue about - even after reading through all of Cliff's AP bio. I have not read the Kaplan BB/WB, so I guess I might get better with this.
Chem:
There were some dumb mistakes I made here that could have been totally avoided, so I guess I need to focus more here.
Ochem:
Made some dumb mistakes, but then also noticed that I have no idea about carbohydrates and proteins. Also, had no clue gel electrophoresis' anode has a positive charge? Anyone have some resource for this section?
PAT:
I did some TFE, keyholes, angle ranking, and pattern folding before, but never did cube counting. I tried the kaplan method, and it worked like a charm. As for the lowest section in this part - patten folding. I seriously cannot figure out how to do these. Any advice would be appreciated!
This was my first test and I was worried about timing, but I finished the natural sciences part with 15 left. However, for PAT, I guessed on the last few pattern folding - I hate these!!!
I have not completed the destroyer yet, but plan on going over it. Also, I will review the bio from Kaplan's white book. What would you all recommend that I do to improve my scores? I really want to make around a 22 and have 2 weeks left. Also, how does Kaplan compare to the real test?
