kaplan dvd's or webprep--when to start?

Hi all,

I was just wondering for those who used the kaplan dvd's or webprep, when they started listening to these lectures. We are on winter break right now and was planning on going over the biochem from kaplan since I am weak in this subject. I was thinking it would be worth it to just listen to all of the dvd's over the break as we have quite a bit of time off. However, I want to be able to retain the info for the boards in June, and was afraid I might forget what I learned.

Any suggestions? Did you start listening this early or wait until dedicated board study time? Do people actually listen to the lectures during their weeks off for board study or start ahead of time? I am trying to figure out the best plan.

If you have free time over winterbreak, I don't think it'd hurt to hit up some of the more conceptual topics like bchm or physio. Just as long as you keep in mind that you're going to have to re-study it at a future date.

Personally, I would recommend getting a First Aid book and annotating your MS1 material. I remember doing a little bit of that, nothing too heavy.
