Anyone taking the online or classroom course from Kaplan with the set of Review Notes books they sent? I can't seem to find a list of errata for the books, and have questions about one of the pages.

I specifically had a question about the Biological Sciences Review Notes, Organic Chemistry Chapter 5, page 310 (Fig. 5.10). I am not sure what the "R" is referring to in the top reaction (or why the double bond is missing), and it seems as if there is a hydrogen that has turned into a methyl group after the addition of BH3 in the same reaction. I can't tell if it's an error or I just don't understand the reaction.
