Is it just me or is Kaplan's BS ridiculously hard. The AAMC BS seems sooooo much easier. Kaplan just goes crazy on those genetics/molecular level/hormone questions.

I just took Kaplan FL2 and got a

13 PS, 10 BS, 10 VR

I was doing pretty well in BS (averaging 1 wrong every 2 passages)... until...
the rabbit hormone/antibody passage.. wtF? I missed 4 questions on it

Then I missed another 4 questions on the acetylcholine O-Chem passage!

Verbal... a 65% = a 10.. wtf? lol

That exam was my highest score of all the exams:

12ps 11v 13ps.

How're you doing on the AAMCs, namely the BS

11-13 on the BS sections in the AAMC. I usually stick to a 10 on PS and 10 in V. Im going to try to steal 1 or 2 points in PS and then I will be satisfied.

My recent AAMC exams have been:
AAMC 6: 32 10 10 12
AAMC 7: 29 10 8 11 🙁
AAMC 9: 34 11 10 13

My PS on the AAMCs I've taken so far is similar to Kaplan

BS is lower than AAMC.. and lately people are saying the Kaplan tests are more like the real thing.. I'm hoping Bio isnt =D

that orgo acetylcholine passage was messed up man...im pretty sure you wont seem something THAT difficult on the real mcat

Yeah lol.. esp that question about whether OH- or CH3- was a better leaving group..

The question was: according to the passage, which of the following is true?

Apparently the answer was something else NOT OH- is a better leaving group than CH3- .. even though its true.. apparently it wasn't stated or displayed in the passage lol!

Hopefully my score will go up from here... hoping for a 36 on the real deal
I just don't want to get a false sense of security.. considering people at these forums are getting high 30s on the FLs..
