Kaplan for Ob/Gyn?

I know that people have recommended Blueprints or First Aid for ob/gyn, but I don't know if anyone yet has just used Kaplan for it. I have the Kaplan books for Step 2 and Case Files, and with what little study time I have, I can't really read a textbook anymore. Any thoughts about the Kaplan/Case Files combo? Thanks!

I wish my skin would get thicker faster... ob/gyn is... rough...

Just read blueprints ob/gyn.It's easy to do 2-3 chapters a day using only a 1-1/2 hours a day and you can finish the whole thing in two weeks max. It's a good read and things you'll see in GYN and labor and delivery will definitely be in the book! My ob/gyn rotation sucked and i didn't learn anything from the residents but putting things that i had read in the book together with things that I saw in the hospital and clinic helped alot.

If you can read blueprints and do case files, you'll definitely score top notch with the shelf!

I have kaplan step 2 for ob/gyn, it's 175 pages but alot is just in summary form which doesn't give you the whole picture.

Study Blueprints and Case Files. If the Kaplan book has questions, do those too. I did just that and though I haven't gotten my score yet, I think I did just fine.

I used Kaplan for my OBGyn, pretty much exclusively, didn't read anything else and scored 98th percentile on the shelf-- it's good stuff, to the point, focuses on cases gives you what you need to know
