another extension of book threads..

when people say they are using the kaplan books, do they mean the 5 RED books with whit font (split up by subjects).

Are these what follow videos?

Also, is MTB better than the 5 kaplan books.

I think so, it's 08-09 edition.

I don't know about videos though cause mine of 2001 edition.

MTB is like summry of these books, but don't think you can use it alone (some mistakes, and gaps need to be filled from these books). That's for sure plus a q bank.

Hope that helps

For your convenience, I'd recommend you if you can take a look at www.books.google.com. Type in there what book you'd you like, and have like few ''preview'' pages just to familiarize yourself with the style and contents.

The Kaplan books are those 5 red books, yep. I haven't gone through the Kaplan videos, but I suspect those follow their own path.

I haven't read MTB, but my understanding is that it's more of a Step 3 resource. There is a lot of overlap between Step 2 CK and Step 3, and I've read some reviews that say they wish they used MTB for their Step 2 CK. But realistically, it's tough to say which one is better. There's always going to be gaps and mistakes, no matter what resource you use. It's really more of a question of how you actually use them. Kaplan is good for giving yourself a broad familiarization of topics, but might not be so great if you're looking for the high-yield cut-to-the-chase sort of thing.
