Hello,

I was just wondering if the actual test uses the same laminated sheet provided by Kaplan or not...

Thanks

I just took my test today and I had a sheet similar to that. It was pink and it was squared out like the kaplan sheet. The pen they give you is totally different though. The tip is much finer.

It's similar, but it's dark pink. I was worried I wouldn't be able to road map during the reading section, but the pen is very fine, compared to the Kaplan one.

are you given one black pen to write with, or like 2+ pens that are different colors??

You get 2 sheets and 2 pens, spot on in thickness and lamination to the Kaplan sheets, but the top 2.5-3 inches is filled with official printed writing.
They are either pink or blue.

I laminated my own sheets at Kinko's, they were much thicker than the real Prometrics ones. I also ordered the same pens as the ones used by Prometrics, just call and ask! If they do not know the thickness, it was "super fine" or "S" as I found out the day of. They are permanent, not erasable.

mine is stained red from the black marker degrading on it for some reason.

literally battered.

after constant washing, the lamination has worn off and damaged the paper within.
