Guys, can someone tell are kaplan lect notes for NDBE same as those for the USMLE step I?

hey.

im studing with the lecture notes.. i dont know how many pages r there in essential..but im satisfied with the book..
in anatomy section is pretty good and also in biochem.
physiology i study with brs together..

didnt do yet the rest..
the thing with the book is that u have to buy it together with the q bank as a package deal and the price is reallyyyyy expensive,, 425 usd..
the dental essantial of kaplan is 35 dollars at amazon..

btw.. i saw ur adds in the forum.. i think u put too much focus on which book to study from.. i think use kaplan and just start.. if u feel it is not enogh use brs.. but in my opinion it is risky becasue u get lost very easly and waste a lot of time.. go kaplan and decks and im sure it will be fine ( i hope so becasue this is what im doing 🙂

during the semester I used Rapid review Goljan for patho togather with BRS , they were actually good bt I dont know whether they are also good for NDBE or not. these are what I decided...I just started last week studying the head and neck anatomy from the moore (essential clinical anatomy)....Im gonna the read the rest of anatomy from BRS and histo from rapid review....Physio from BRS and bichem from lippincotts...microb and immune I still dont know....and also dent anat Im so confused what I have to use wheelers is huge....
by the way, what I underestood from your answer is that kaplan lect note is not the same as series for USMLE?

u have to have a book for nbde! first reading u have to use it. for each chapter,if u feel that u r weak or didnt understand the concept go to brs..

i also did head and neck from moore, waste of time!
u gonna learn 3 and half years in sevral week.
what im doing, i hope it is good. is too read chapter form nbde book,than brs of the chapter (not all of the cahpter just points or concepts ) and than do the question in brs.

from what i understood from people who scored well,the key is repetition. do a sample test (1998) to see the level and the deepness of the questions. they are different,more superfical but the cover a wwwiiiiddde material.

i didnt do the test yet so i hope my plan will work.. if not i will have to change it... good luck!

when do you have your exam? for me it s by the end of october. are you a dental student in schools in US?
Im a dental student jus finishing the 3rd yr in Europe....we use english textbook....my weakness in all the subjects are mainly in Neuroscience and Microb....
in tha other threads, i found a guy who wrote that he used the First aid and questions in the exam were much deeper than this simple book....and he failed....thats why Im so scared....do you any idea about dentessential of kaplan?
