kaplan lecture notes: microbiology

can anybody comment on how good are the kaplan notes for microbiology. which one is better for microbio, kaplan notes or 'micriobiology made ridiculously simple'??

Both good but completely different styles. I just took MBMRS and Kaplan and wrote additional notes in FA to have everything in one place for review (FA).

The process was well worth the time as most everything "stuck" through that exercise. I did the same thing with Kaplan Pharm and FA.

i was wondering abt this too. Ihave done kaplan micro, but it was a month or so ago, so i need to go back and do it. But, i've been hearing all about MMRS, is it worth reading that--i mean are the pictures and the read, that "amazing"? On a side note, I am not a big fan of HUGE charts with lots of info--don't ever know what to extrapolate out of them. Would appreciate any advice. Thanks.

When you guys are refering to Kaplan notes do you mean the large bound books you get at the Kaplan courses? I have a friend that took the course in 2003 and he gave me the 3 large volumes (each book has close to 1000 pages!). Wondering if I should bother reading through them, as I'm already swamped with review books.
