Who has done the Kaplan complete home series (videos and lecture notes)? How long did it take you? Do you think it's worth taking Kaplan or is FA+UW+Qbank sufficient?

FA + UW is definitely sufficient to pass.

But if you want to do better than pass, you'd better start as early as possible and read as many review books as possible. Different sources have all kinds of esoteric information, which seems likely (but may not) show up on the real test. I know I found a bunch of NBME answers in various review books.

It took me about 1 month to get through the Kaplan videos and notes. Skip class whenever it is not unprofessional to do so, that's all I can say.

1 month? Was that full day or half day for a month? Wow, some have told me 3 months... Anyhow, I will have 6 weeks, have done FA once, UW once, and am looking to bump up my score by 20 points. Am wondering what is the best way to spend the remainder of my time.

well i would say 3 months would be a good estimate of time to get most of it hard wired into your brain.

1 month for first pass

And that's 8 hour days :scared:

Hence "skip class whenever it is not unprofessional to do so"

Do you know everything that's in UW+FA? I think you can score very high if you know these 2 from cover to cover.

That is an excellent question. I am debating whether to spend more time going cover to cover for FA and UW or start brand new on the Kaplan series.

Does anyone know where the ANS pharm questions are in the qbank? I tried general...not there. Tried CNS...not there. Am I missing something? These are the highest yield pharm stuff and the questions in the lecture notes/with raymond are great. Was hoping for some more...
