Kaplan NBDE Part 1 Review Book

Is this the book that everyone refers to when they say the "Kaplan Book" or "Kaplan Notes".

I'm about to buy one but am wondering if I'm buying the right thing.

I know people have mixed opinions as to the value of this book but I'm looking for review material as I've been away from the classroom for a few years now.

I have '06'/'07 dental decks as well as some past papers (most recent is '01/'02)

Also, does anyone know what this book is worth? Is this the book that costs $500 or $600 from Kaplan?

Hi achtung6, Kaplan review book is really worth to read particularly for part I. it contains lot of information that is not covered in dental decks. It is the same book which is known as kapaln book or kaplan notes. Because its a huge book, sometimes people dont get time to completely revise it so they just concentrate on dental decks and ASDA papers. I hope this helps.

This is VERY helpful. Thank you. I've been away from the classrooms for some time now and could use a "review".

It sounds like this book is just what I need to refresh before cracking down on those dental decks.
