i recently received the newest edition of four of the kaplan subject books...thay have new biochem, pharm, path and anatomy...btw, you only get these if you signed up and paid for a kaplan course...anyways, from the people who got these, what do you think about them? i have the older biochem and the newer edition...i must say the new edition omits some details...although, minor details i wonder why they were omitted...off the top of my head, i recall that they took out the example of attenuation with the histidine operon, and bunch of facts about pka and pi from the enzyme chapter...however, they did orient a little more towards clinical application as diseases are now presented in boxes with a little vignette...i wonder if these changes are for the better or the worse...i have heard that biochem for kaplan is excellent..i hope in their eagnerness to change they didn't screw the book up 😱
