kaplan notes & 1st aid

hi all,

1.i tried to go through many posts but not many people talk about kaplan notes for step2ck preparation...are they not good enough?
If only these are done for the reading part and followed with kaplan q book & may be usmleworld...will this be enough?

2. And how much role is first aid supposed to play, just one reading?

Anyone's experienced words will be highly appreciated.

I did prepare exactly the way you mentioned.
Gave 2 readings of Kaplan notes for Step 2 CK
Did the Kaplan Q book and Q bank
DId the USMLE World
I found it to be very sufficient. Just a note..I took copious notes while doing USMLE world and looked up few topics in CMDT (particularly that were not mentioned in that detail in Kaplan). By no means I read the whole CMDT. Just referred it based on topics stressed in USMLE world question bank.

Oops I did not mention about First Aid. I did not do it and from the feedback I received from others First Aid for Step 2 CK is not as great as the one for Step 1.
