I?m in the process of planning out my study schedule and organizing my material for USMLE step one and was wondering from those who have used the Kaplan notes if they have found them more useful and higher yield than using the BRS or High Yield series? I happen to have both (the new Kaplan notes) so it?s a matter of choosing the books to go with. Any input would gladly be appreciated.

From what I have been told, the Kaplan books are all you need for everything except Pathology. I am using Goljan for Path but many others use BRS.

There is not really a good review book or a bad one. Unless you really screw up in the first two years (then you need to read big textbooks to cover Path/Phys), BRS/HY/Road Map/Kaplan etc are all good for memerizaton and cramming. Choose ONE review book for every subject and know it well.
