Kaplan On-Demand Course

I am going to take the Kaplan course for the DAT, but need some input as to which one would be the best option. I am taking it because I am having a hard time sticking to a schedule and feel this will help structure things for me a bit. Are there any differences between the courses except for live sessions versus pre-recorded sessions (i.e. assignments, schedule, materials)? Are the pre-recorded sessions any good? I know Kaplan courses have been discussed and I have searched, but can't find much about the on-demand course.

Have you tried asking about this in the actual Kaplan forum? They've got paid reps there that are pretty attentive.
