Kaplan Online Study Course

I just wrote my OAT yday. I used the Kaplan Online Course Lessons which come with 4 sample tests and the book, etc.

I found the bio portion of the OAT very random compared to the Kaplan, Kaplan focused on completely different things, which made me feel that I was prepared for the section when I was not.

However, I found the physics portion on the OAT simpler than the the Kaplan one.

Is this just me about the bio thing? :S Ive heard others say that physics was easier.

Yea, I took it last week too and found the bio pretty random (but personally found it random with Kaplan too). I didn't think it was that bad, and physics was definitely a pleasant surprise for me also after Kaplan's physics sections >_<
The biggest deviation for me was reading comp! I was totally thrown off by the questions that had two statements and you had to identify which where true or false. I ran short on time and rushed the last passage. Did they change to this format recently?

I agree, on the bio section Kaplan had the same type of questions over and over. Biology is really random and there is a lot of information. If you guys don't mind me asking, what did you guys score on the OAT?

OMG I think the Kaplan Online Course was the biggest waste of money for me everrr!!! I found the OAT destroyer to be MUCH more helpful.

the Bio section WAS very random.

on the Kaplan review tests I kept getting a 270 in physics but got a 340 on the actual test. I think the physics is just more conceptual than mathematical.

totally agree with you. can't believe i paid that much for it :|.
And you can't even access the material after it expires!!!
