Hello,

I don't see many people posting about Kaplan or Princeton Review for DAT prep. I am assuming the online prep resources for Kaplan or Princeton Review is not that good?

Thanks

You could use them, but your time is better spent using comprehensive sources like Cliffs 3e supplemented with Feralis notes, and Chad's Videos for chem/ochem.

I took the Princeton Review course and loved it. They taught helpful tips and tricks, and while you can learn a lot of it on your own, it's helpful for those who don't have an entire summer off to study and who have other commitments. It's also a lot cheaper than the Kaplan courses and the books were so much easier to read. Kaplan put me to sleep almost every single time, and I eventually gave up reading it. The Princeton Review book was a much easier read, making concepts easier to understand. Great resources and great teachers for the price that they were asking. Also, you can call in and ask for discount codes. I got the course for $200 off, which was a great bonus!

I took kaplan and wasnt a big fan, I heard good things about Princeton but it wasnt offered in my area.

They just see too easy. Start with CrackDAT, Destroyer, Odyssey and Feralis notes. They are tough, but if you go slow and master them, you can do well.

I didn't do one but not many people speak highly of them.
Overly priced, can get better knowledge from self studying.

Maybe your better off testing out their books (the classes you speak of) then deciding if the class is worth it to you or not. I am actually not in a class.
