I am currently in my first year of medical school. I ordered a set of Pharma review cards online that I could review in my spare time. Since it involves a lot of memorization I wanted to start early.

My question is what aspects are most important to study for the boards? The cards usually list the drug, its common uses for disease, how it works, and the common side-effects.

I've done a little research and it seems like matching diseases with drugs is the most important thing, but I was not sure how often things like side-effects and the others were tested. Thank you!
