does anyone else think kaplan physics is really hard... i think the subject tests and the topical tests are really hard i am getting like 50 - 60%.

They are typically harder. Seems off the wall sometimes, but if you go back to them you'll see that most are pretty simple concepts behind the monster. I hate some of their explanations though as they have managed to confuse me even more. AAMC tests are more accurate of real MCAT physics, but Kaplan can be used to drive in the main concepts.

I agree on that too, and not only on PS, I get those mark on other sections as well...maybe it's only my problem.. 😱
But I think the concepts they use is simple but they word it too hard..

ur totally not alone. Their PS section makes me wanna bang my head against the wall multiple times.

ok good because i have the tpr workbook just to do some science passages on the side of my kaplan class and i have been finding a big discrepency in how i score on those passages compared to kaplan passages. I seriously miss like 0 to 1 question on the tpr passages where as it is very close to half of the questions on kaplan passages. Sometimes the kaplan passages are so hard i end up guessing on most of the questions.

yea, if you check out some previous posts, you'll see that supposedly the kaplan PS is notorious for its difficulty, so no worries, you're good 😉

I get like 75% on the physics tests, but I swear some of those question answers are WRONG. Some of the answers will end their explanations with "and therefore the answer must be C," and then D will be marked as correct. Also, I asked several people who did very well on the MCAT about a couple of Kaplan topical tests and they basically shook their heads and told me to move on.
