I got a 498 on the 3 hour free version of the exam (this is the one you're talking about right)?
Chem/Phys: 122 (lol...)
CARS: 127
Bio/Biochem: 125
Psych/Socio: 124
Haven't looked at a single physics or orgo problem in 3 years and I've never taken a psych/socio class before. Pretty happy about the score but I need to start learning those 2 sections before the June test date lol.
Honestly, it just goes to show that Psych/Socio is basically a slightly modified form of CARS. Someone else in the May MCAT thread shared those same sentiments too. You can eliminate half of the answers using the same logic you would for CARS, all you need to do if make sure you go over the AAMC outline and know your shiet.
I highly recommend the EK verbal book if you're looking to get your score up btw! A lot of the tips really helped me out. Good luck on your MCAT! Maybe you can help me out with my Chem/Phys score haha
