Hey guys
I was just wondering if anyone knows who exactly sees the scores of the practice tests? I was going to take one in a few weeks at my school, but have not started to review physics at all(I took it two years ago) so I know I am not going to do well there(yet) So anyways, anyone with any info about these things could you let me know?
Thanks

some preschool teacher working at kaplan over the summer part time and an undergrad teaching sat's scored my practice exams, neither of whom knew the difference between a 15 or a 45. I think worrying about who is seeing your score is good though. Personally, i was so ashamed of my diagnostic test score that I studied twice as hard as I would have otherwise. If you're uncomfortable with a low score--you will likely study hard. Fear is a very powerful motivating factor.

At the Kaplan center where I studied, the tests were scored by a computer/scantron thingie. So while people had to put the pages through the scanner, etc., I'm sure nobody really paid attention to the scores. My guess is that the Kaplan employees who work the front desk are the only ones that see the scores.

Believe me, I don't think you should worry if you didn't study. Usually, when people go into those things, they haven't started studying yet, and the scores are basically the same - very low. Don't worry - i think the only people who see them are the people who run them through the scantron (and during the class, your teachers probably will get the copy of your scores as well) - i don't think anyone judges your scores in the beginning - they don't really judge your scores until later in the studying process (and by then, your scores would have improved drastically!).

I worked at Kaplan and can say don't worry about it. The only people that might see your scores that even know what a decent score is are your teachers. At least at our center, we look at the score to look for trends and ways for you to improve. It sounds cheesy, but I would look at scores to see how people are doing and what they could do to get better scores.
