Hey, I just flipped to #1 of the PAT in the first practice test in the Blue Book and this problem is driving me nuts. Someone take a look at it and let me know if Kaplan has made a mistake.

My obvious choice was option c) but the answer says a).

If it is a) could somebody possibly explain why this is?

Also it's a keyhole problem with three triangles on top of a block-of-sorts.

Thanks!

*bump

I'm sure someone has the Kaplan Blue Book handy.

Take a look at this problem for me so I can rest!!!

😱

It's A.

Check it out, C wouldn't work because you are looking at it from the biggest side in that picture. If C were correct, the middle triangle would need to be twice as big as the two on the side at that angle.

Answer A is correct. Look exactly at the picture that you are given and pretend like you are pushing it straight back. Don't alter it at all. Just look at it as its sitting there. If you were to do an outline of it right there, you would see your answer is A.

I did 4 hours of PAT yesterday, so I'm in the zone on this. 28s so far on practice tests. Woot.
