Hey guys,

I took a practice exam from Kaplan a couple weeks ago that they administered and scored. How close is this to the *real* DAT?

Much harder? Much easier? About the same.

I got an AA of 18 and haven't been studying *hard* yet...so any insight would be great! :luck:

Thanks!

The Kaplan Diagnostic Exam is a fair representation of what you will see on the real DAT, except for the QR and PAT. They are slightly harder on the real DAT. However, the Kaplan course and all of it's accompanying resources are great prep for the Science Section. Keep practicing in order to build consistency...an 18 is a great place to start! I took the Kaplan course and did fairly well. My Kaplan final was almost identical to my real DAT scores, so I would say from my personal experience, yes, your Kaplan score is a good indicator of how you would perform on the real deal. Best of Luck!!

My DAT: 22/22/20 (AA/TS/PAT)
