Hey all,

I just took my COMLEX level 1 exam today (late) and I plan on taking level 2 in the next few months. Our school gave us the Kaplan level II books, Qbank and onsite lectures (incl. in our tuition of course). I was curious if any one had found COMLEX Kaplan II to be helpful or not... I saw a lot of CRUSH, FirstAID, and SECRET reviews... is there a way we can start a poll to see who thought what was best?! Or... any comments are appreciated...

THANKS 👍

I think the best prep for COMLEX 2 is to read and pay attention during third year. I answered most of the questions on the exam from random experiences I had third year and not from the full USMLEWORLD and Kaplan QBanks I did over the months leading up to the exam. If I were to do it over again, I would read through B&Ws (or FA if you so choose) a few times (hitting OB and PEDS hard) and would do the four practice tests in the back of saverese and call it a day. That said, I read alot of medicine during third year. I wasted a lot of time prepping for that completely random test which tested very little medcine, lab interpretation etc. Hope that helps...sorry no scores back yet to verify my thoughts.....and just read that you just took step 1...if that is the case you should need very little prep to be sucessful and I cant stress the importance of the saverese ?s enough.
