Has anyone used this bank? Good/bad? Any thoughts? I have 2 months and I was already planning on doing UWorld, but I'd give this a try to if its worth it

I'm almost done with it and I'm liking it. 1st I tried 1 free block sample to see. I'm doing UW afterwards. I recommend it, MAYBE not as your only source (will tell later about UW..).

Ah, just in case u want to try free block:
www.kaplanmedical.com

I've read also something about a $50 coupon discount; Google it.
Always press reKap, although you got the answer right.

Best wishes

Things I like of UsmleWorld
-Have a new feedback function

Things I like from kaplan
-Flag items and then look at those questions apart from all others (this is not marking qs, which you can also do in both)
-You can use any Internet explorer, so you don't need a special software in every computer you use.

Things I dislike of Kaplan Qbank
-Can't mark questions after you completed a block
-Highlighting function is clumsy and it 'forgets' what you highlighted days before
-Doesn't compare your results to others/How many people answered each question correctly
----------------------------------------------------
Overall like them both, Great qs, but UW has more positive feedback. Haven't take Step 3 yet. Hope it helps.

i just used kaplan q bank for step 3 and was disappointed that there were no simulated clinical case vignettes.
usmle world has 50 vignettes
if you nail the small points on the clinical vignette portion of the exam you will do much better.

for that reason im telling all my coresidents to do usmle world >>> Kaplan.

good luck.
