Hey guys,

I was wondering on which book you would recommend doing questions off of. Would you choose Kaplan qbook or the First Aid Q and A?

Does anyone know if there is a 2013 Kaplan qbook coming out?
Did anyone find the First Aid Cases book helpful?

Thanks in advance!

I went thru the basic sciences in Qbook last summer to recap 1st year and actually remember stuff now from doing those questions. I found it helpful.

My vote is conditional. I went with Kaplan QBook, but that's only if one also completes USMLE Rx QBank.

On their own, I think FA Q&A is more relevant to the USMLE than Kaplan QBook, but because the former is overly similar to / has overlap with USMLE Rx (which I believe everyone should do), if someone completes Rx, then he or she should go with Kaplan QBook instead of FA Q&A.

So in short:

USMLE Rx + Kaplan QBook is > FA Q&A,

but WITHOUT Rx, FA Q&A > KQB.
