does anyone use them? Do you think their content is an accurate representation for the actual mcat? (not including verbal)
I've started to use them because I feel like the practice amca PS questions are too easy. anybody agree?

If by question banks you mean the topical/section tests, then I think they are good practice. They are much harder than AAMC practice exams passages in my opinion, but still good practice for the real MCAT in the event you do get some complex/confusing passage.

As far as the Kaplan QBank (which I think you are referring to), not sure as I did not use that in my preparation.

I got the Kaplan QBank (which costs $200 extra on top of the regular course), but I found I only used it to drill PS problems. I thought the QBank questions were VERY hard, even for Kaplan, which is harder than AAMC in general. (Kaplan's questions call for a lot of involved calculations, so it's nearly impossible to finish the whole PS section on their full-length timed MCATs.)

If you want to practice on some of the hardest ball-buster PS problems out there, this might be worth a try. Personally, I found it a bit discouraging because the problems were so difficult to finish in the allotted time.

i was referring to the qbanks that kaplan has on the online syllabus. i wonder if doing those this week before my exam will make a difference? who thinks its better or worse than content review?

Content review won't mean ****--concentrate on practice tests. If you find from the practice tests that you have one or two areas of weakness, then QBank might be helpful to you. It lets you create timed quizzes of up to 50 questions (which is close to the length of a section on the real MCAT). You can create tests on section topics (i.e. PS, BS) or subtopics (chemistry or bio only).

I used QBank because I'd already taken all of the Kaplan topical and section tests for PS, but I wanted more practice before I took my remaining full-length practice tests. I used QBank to create more tests that were like the Kaplan PS section. As I said before, these were quite difficult, but they did help me improve my timing a bit.
