is there a difference between those two sources or are they the same?

For general chem and orgo
The science chapters are EXACTLY WORD FOR WORD THE SAME:..... there are 2 difference tho
1) the white book has end of chapter questions... where KBB doesn't
2) the KBB is in color print, the white book is black&white

For Biology
there are some content differences between the chapters (not alot but some here and there). I am referring to the white book having more content. And also, the white book has end-of chapter questions (just like I explained for general chem and orgo)

For PAT
From what I remember, they were both exactly the same

For QR
Both were the same

For Reading comp
The KBB has 3 practice passages, where as the white book has the same 3 but an additional 6 (total of 9 passages for the white book)

By the way, Kaplan white book = Kaplan review notes

wow that was a quick reply. Thank you so much 🙂 So if I study for the dat using your 8-week program, I can substitute the white book for KBB?

Sure, from what I remember, the chapter numbers / names are the same. I did most of my kaplan studying from KBB... the only time I used my white book was when I finished each chapter of the general chems, I thought those end-of-chapter questions were great. Other than that, I didn't use the white book much. To be honest with you, the black&white pages were annoying to look at especially when I knew the colorful (same) pages were on the KBB
