If I want to do Taus method to study for Step 1, are the Kaplan review notes sufficient? Or should I buy books from the list that Tau recommended?

Does anyone have experience with the Kaplan Review books and know which of the books in their series are good, and which ones need supplementation?

I believe the kaplan biochem notes are specifically mentioned in the method as being a suitable alternative.

With the exception of pathology they are all good if you have the time to go through them all. To get the max out of them you have to do them along side the videos. My personal favorites are pharm, biochem and physio and anatomy.

The pathology book + video is good; however, book by itself is not so good.
