I bought the book and I'm planning to stArt studying Monday . However is there a specific schedule that you can follow while studying this book because being organized is the key and I want to finish on time and take it end of August. Also studying this Kaplan review and taking the prep test is this enough or I should also consider something else. I'm just nervous because I don't know if I am studying the write material. What do you guys recommend?

The material in the big blue kaplan book is correct. However, it just depends on what type of student you are and the best way you learn. I also bought the kaplan book and I was going to use it as my only source. I went through the entire biology section (made flash cards as my way of taking notes) and then i've been trying to memorize the flashcards as i've been studying the other topics. I then went through the entire chemistry section and by the time i got to the end of it, I realized that I was just writing notes but not actually remembering or understanding what I wrote... I wasted so many days on that. So i resorted to Chad's videos. HE IS AMAZING!!! He has videos that clearly explain everything and the quizzes at the end of each video are also wonderful. If you watch a couple units of chad's videos a day, it will keep you on track and it will take just less than a month to finish them all. And then you will have the rest of your time to practice practice practice!!

I started studying maybe a week ago, and started out with the big blue Kaplan book as well. I was starting to beat myself in the head because I am NOT a reading learner. I can read and read but won't remember a thing I read.. So I found these forums and to my luck, Catsomgcats ^^^ reached out to me as well!! She told me all about Chad's videos and they are EXTREMELY helpful and I am able to get through way more subjects a day (and retain more information) than if I read the material. You can access these videos on CourseSmart (google it) and purchase them for 50$ for a month's access. I am forever grateful for Catsomgcats for her advice 🙂.

I think Chad's videos are great for learning the material, but another important way of studying that I've read on countless posts from people that have taken the OAT already is PRACTICE PROBLEMS. Get through the material as quickly and effectively as you can, but try and provide ample time for practice questions from sources like the OAT destroyer and practice tests. As I've read, this is when you do the other half of your studying. LOTS of practice question exposure is also a key to doing well.

I plan on taking the OAT at middle of August. Good luck!
