I use all 3 of these Qbanks. Well, I used Kaplan and Rx during the year and am focusing more on Uworld now. Here is what 70% correct gets you, according to certain links I will post below.

70% right on RX = 232

70% right on Kaplan = 242 or 243 (depending on site)

70% right on UWorld = 251

I just looked these up for myself because I was curious. Thought I would share in case anybody cared. It's about what I thought.

Your Rx prediction is based on your most recent set of tests, not a "cumulative" per say.

See that's funny because I'm finding it very hard to exceed past 70% on any qbank. I can manage a 70% on world just fine through educated guessing but I know a raw 70% on the NBME will kill you. So I am thinking that Rx could in fact be more predictive because you are supposed to be attaining higher percentages closer to the real test...

It doesn't matter don't get caught up in qbank %. If anything from my experience last year, the best reference for how well you will do is NBME exam or UWSA. +/- 10 pts. This is realistic expectation, you may ace a self assessement because you got lucky and know that information. Whatever you do don't be confident based on your qbank % TAKE A SELF ASSESSEMENT! Don't save it to the end chart your progress from day 1. Best of luck to all you guys out there in Step I world!

Solid advice. Assessments are where it's at. I've done 4 of them. I'll probably do more!

However, I still think it's fun to have these Qbank estimators, as inaccurate as they may be. Better than nothing!
