I went out and bought both study booklets last week and have finished the Barron's practice tests and have gone midway through each section in the Kaplan book.

I only get about 1-3 questions wrong on each section in the Barron's practice tests and can finish each section a lot faster than the time alotted, but Kaplan is a whole other story. The questions are a lot trickier and time consuming and I'm getting about half of them wrong.

What should I expect for the upcoming PCAT in June? Can I breeze through it by assuming it'll be more like Barron's? Kaplan? Somewhere in the middle between the two? I'm not worried about reading comp. & analogies, but the chemistry has me worried in the case that the actual exam is more at the Kaplan level.

I would have bought that one too if I saw it at the bookstore but it would be too late by the time I order it online since I'm taking the exam on the 23rd.

so one could asume cliff's is a good representation of what is on the test? I've used cliff's and it wasn;'t too bad also how much to peple ,iss on the exam for each section say its 58 questions is missing 8-15 like low 70 composite or worse?

I think the cliff's book is easier than the real thing...especially on math and chem. bio and verbal are pretty accurate.

Barron's is also too easy

Kaplan is wayyy too hard in bio / chem...verbal/math/reading is pretty accurate.

At least from what i remember on the real pcat....(which was also before the new changes)

hi everyone
i am kinda disappointed at my self ...i am using kaplan review book for the pcat and i think its soooo soo hard for the bio im like stuck on the bio section forever....and then i take the quizes at the end and they make me get very upset cause i get a lot of questions wrong...anyone else think the same?

the PCat Cliffs 5 exams booklet is a good reprsentative on all except for the reading section

i went out and bought Cliffs on wed. and have finished all 5 practice tests and reviewed the material.

easiest to hardest: barron - cliffs - kaplan

hopefully cramming all of the information from all three books during the past three weeks will be enough...
