I am planning on getting a bunch of BRS books, and a couple HY, plus First Aid. Are these books better, or would it be better to rely on the Kaplan books instead of these? Thanks.

For the most part I didn't find Kaplan books all that helpful. With the one exception being Biochem. I thought Kaplan did a nice job of that one. As for the rest of the subject search the old posts from last year. People discussed ad nauseum the best books for each subject. Most seemed to think (and I agree):
Path - BRS!!! and Robbin's Question Book
Pharm - FA seemed enough for most. Supplement with Lippincot for stuff you diont know but dont leat Lippincot all the way through.
Micro - Micro Made Simple
Immuno - the 40 page immuno section in Levinson (I think thats the author, its gray and orange on the cover)
Physio - BRS!!!
Anatomy - HY
Neuro - HY
Behavior - BRS!!
Stats - spend at most 1 day on this (HY, BRS Behavior, Kaplan, pick one they all work)
Biochem - I liked Kaplan, some say HY Mol Bio was really good.
Histo - don't bother, just learn path slides

ohh yea FA for EVERYTHING - this is you BIBLE.
