SO I have been doing UW for a long time and just started to do Kaplan Qbank. I have been doing 60, 65 in UW but the Kaplan questions seem too detailed and therefore harder for me. Anyone can tell me if the actual exam questions are more detailed like kaplan or more concept like UW?
THanks in advance

from what I gather, the real exam is some sort of strange amalgam of kaplan + uworld. some longer questions with lots of lab values, and then some shorter (but tougher) ones like uworld. you ought to do an NBME. those are supposed to be most predictive. plus i found them to be easier than either kaplan or uworld, and therefore it was quite a confidence boost for me.

from everything that i've heard from folks who took the test last year, the real thing is, overall, easier than bothe kaplan q-bank and uworld. kaplan makes the answer choices very difficult, and the real thing is not as tough in that respect. suposedly, the real thing is very much like the NBME's and the free 150 with some tough questions thrown in the mix. i was told yesterday, the on the real thing there are 5-10 "kaplan type" questions on the real thing and the rest are mostly straight forward. i hope this holds true cuz i find q-bank pretty difficult as well.
