Waste of money. With Kaplan - 20. Without - 23.

Of all my resources, the Kaplan Blue Book was the least helpful without a doubt.

The class is not worth it. Make a plan and study on your own!

Omg thanks so much! I have been trying to decide. I'm going in on my own. Any tips of what was most helpful?

Agree with everyone else that Kaplan is a huge waste of money. I had a "coupon" that I won from a pre-dental club and it still cost me around $600-700 if I remember correctly. Ugh, so much money I could have put towards materials or to AADSAS fees & secondary fees.

As far as the materials look at the DAT discussion 🙂

Chads videos and destroyer for chem/ochem. Destroyer bio is underrated imo. Math destroyer for math. CDP a must for PAT. Cliffs AP Bio for bio. Just read a lot and practice your strategy for reading section

This is what I used.

Cliffs AP Bio
CHADS
DAT Destroyer
Math Destroyer (So glad I bought this)
Supplemented with the Kaplan Book
DAT Achiever - need some sort of realistic DAT practice (not the best as it is more difficult than the real DAT but the reading comp saved me as I had almost the same passage)

Qvault <--- Good to have, but would be last on my list
Crack the dat <--- Decent practice
Dat destroyer ??!?! <---- Roadmaps were useful
Chads <--- More than worth it!!!!!!!!!
I need opinions!!

Include:
AP Cliff Notes Biology (or Barron's Reviewer)
Wikipedia to look into things you aren't fully comfortable with
Khan Academy Videos to clarify some QR stuff
ACS Chemistry Olympiad Exams (pretty great practice)

Make sure you practice the exam. You should probably do them under the pressure of a clock and with a dry erase board (or pieces of paper) just to get a feel of timing and various test taking strategies. There are a couple old DATs on the internet and the OAT is written by the ADA so you can practice some of those too (obviously not physics).
