Is Kaplan's GChem and OChem sufficient study material if my background on gchem and ochem isn't good?

for orgo if you know all the reactions then kaplan is enough.
for gchem i think kaplan has more calculations type questions, compared to the real thing where most of the questions are conceptual. So I think you need more practice questions for gchem, just my opinion.
I am guessing from kaplan you mean kaplan book not the course rite?😕

I think ochem and gchem for kaplan is fine.

Also, it is not written in stone that the DAT will ask more "conceptual" questions on gchem. You can just as well get numerous calculation questions. It is all up to the Lord of the DAT, so prepare for everything.

I think the gchem section of DAT destroyer is the most valuable part of that book.

definately I took it today just using kaplan and I thought both were pretty easy I got an 18 on chem and a 20 on Organic and I hated chem in college. I know those scores arnt great on here but I think there fine and chem seemed really easy Im really sure how I missed that many but I guess its like only missing 7.

I also got reactions from http://www.scribd.com/doc/2886453/Or...-342-Reactions

This was a lifesaver for me, should have used it the first time.

Someone on here posted them and they were great
