Kaplan's prep class?

Has anyone invested the $1300 to take this course and found it useful? I bought the book to study from it and found it to be useful, but of course not as detailed as the materials you would learn in any science class.

The thing is I'm a horrible test taker.. And I'm curious if anyone who has taken the class found that they teach you how to take the test better? Any advice? I'm very disciplined and can study on my own, but I'm just trying to explore all venues so that I can improve the best way. From my most recent test score I feel like an illiterate..😡

The class is good for learning strategies for each individual section. I don't think it's worth the price at all, but I don't completely regret taking it.

If you can somehow manage to get your hands on the lesson book and read through it, it's pretty much like you took the course without having spent over a grand.

A classmate of mine did the online Kaplan studying...she seemed to think it worked well for her, but her verbal and reading comp scores were still lower than she would have liked (she's ESL). It's quite expensive, though.

It depends on how you study. The Kaplan course doesn't really teach you any material, but merely gives you strategies to answer all the questions. In my opinionm it's not worth it.

Don't waste your money. I did it online and I didn't feel good about it. I think if you can organize your schedule, then just buy a PCAT book and study for it.
