KBB Practice Test Difficulty

I've heard that the test provided in KBB is junk. Is this true or does it give some indication of my potential score? I was struggling through the Destroyer and just decided to see where I was at with that test for the hell of it and I was getting 20s. I was actually suprised considering how the Destroyer made me feel.
