http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michaelis%E2%80%93Menten_kinetics

Michaelis–Menten kinetics plots reaction rate vs [substrate].

Vmax- think of this as terminal operation capacity, the enzyme cannot perform its work any faster regardless of substrate concentration. Its reaction rate is at the highest it can operate. the enzyme is fully saturated. from this you can see the enzyme cannot perform above its vmax.

km is simply the substrate concentration it takes to reach one half of vmax. two times the amount of Km will provide enough substrate for the enzyme to reach vmax.

kcat i dont remember.

isnt this pharmacology?!?! im defly learning this right now for my effing midterm tomorrow.
km is the michaelis menton constant, drug concentration @ which the drug elimination rate is 1/2 vmax.
im not even gonna answer the other 2 bc uh im 99.9% sure you dont need to know this for your DAT.....
