After reading most of this thread, some of which was pretty funny, and some of which was fairly disturbing, I can state that the original poster is correct, and nothing false was stated. That said, posts like these don't do us any favors for residency applications, as it taints the school's reputation. KCOM and I have had our disagreements but, overall, I can say it's worth it to come here and experience it for yourself. There will be childish drama, clicks, hatred, angst, and retribution in any med school - just comes with the territory due to stress and tons of type A's all thrown together and told to "play nice." No worries overall though because, in the end, it's just the degree and the name that matters - this is what buys your ticket to spend your life improving others' either here or abroad.
