KCOM June interviewees....Accepted or Rejected?

I too interviewed at KCOM and got called on Wednesday night. It seems I am accepted pending a seat coming open? In other words, I believe it is just another wait-list <img border="0" alt="[Pity]" title="" src="graemlins/pity.gif" />
I also interviewed at KCOM and got called from them on Wed afternoon. I am accepted, but I have not received any written confirmation at this point.
i also interviewed in june. i was told that i'm on the "high" alternate list. apparently i have a very good shot at getting in but obviously no guarantees. the admissions people are comforting and made it clear i do have a great chance at getting in but cant promise anything. another waiting list but this one seems promising and the school is my top choice so i'm hoping to get that call.
Great to hear that things are looking good for you, OUSooner. I hope that you get that call, too! I enjoyed talking to you while you were here and I hope we can talk again sometime!
Anyone out there know how many applicants are on KCOM's "high alternative" wait list? I received the same call last Wednesday night with the "high alternate" info. How many of us are out there?
i know i am. they did give me an encouraging vibe, so i dont think that many? anyone else on it?

As far as that high alternate list thing, it sounded to me as if I would get the call for acceptance the next day. Who knows, we could all be class mates this fall, or we could be a bunch of knuckle heads who figured we were next in line to no avail...
I'm in! got a call today from kcom saying congrats youre in. talk about relief. keep the faith people i'm sure if ur on the high list you have a good shot at admittance.

Anyways, there is an email group for the spouses/significant others/better-halfs ::wink:: of incoming students. If you have one of those above.....tell them to write me and I will get them hooked up with some great people.

thx everyone. everyone here has been great and an excellent source of support the past few months. i'm stoked about kcom and look forward to meeting all of the people there. keep the faith to those on the waitlist. i'm sure that you'll get in somewhere especially those on the "high list". just back from a night out at the bar w/ friends celebrating my admittance, i'll talk to u all later. take care
wifey, i do have a "sig. other" but unfortunately i think this is the end of the line for us. she has time left here at OU for her undergrad and i'm moving on so we'll keep in touch but as far as your support group i have nobody to offer. well maybe i'll find someone down the line. :0
