I was just wondering if anyone knew what the acceptance rate was for students receiving an interview at KCUMB. I've got one on tuesday and I was hoping this would take some pressure off.

 ha. I was just searching the same thing as I know it was mentioned in a thread somewhere recently but I can't find the exact post. I remember someone said like they only interview 25% of applicants so it works out that if you get an interview you have a 75% of being accepted. They only interview like 350 applicants or something like that

😕 Anyone help out?

Actually they interview around 650 applicants out of 2500-3000 applications. I was told at my interview (and it must be true because I am here) that if you get an interview they just want to make sure you are normal. Chances are very good that if you interview here you will probably be accepted. Of course if they don't like you won't get in. Good luck. 🙂

According to their latest catalog, they ADMIT about 1/2 of whom they interview. They don't publish how many they accept in order to admit this many, or what the attrition rates are. I have heard estimates from other students as optimistic as 80% acceptance (out of interviews), but I don't know how reliable their sources were.

They don't release their official numbers, so there's no way of knowing for sure. However, I have heard it's as high as 80%. When you interview, everyone from the administration to the students will tell you your odds of being admitted are quite high.
