KCUMB - Question About Secondary App

I have a question regarding the proper way to fill out the KCUMB secondary application, for those of you who have already done so, specifically questions 9-11. The section asks us to "List below only those individuals who will be submitting evaluations on your behalf." My school sends out a packet that contains all of my recommendations, including a committee evaluation, through VirtualEvals. I know that I need to list my committee information and advisor, that much is clear, but do I also need to list all of my science instructors' information (5 letters) as well as my physician evaluation information? All my letters are in the packet submitted to the school.

I'd appreciate any guidance on this matter. I was going to call the school, but if I can avoid bothering them for this, it would be better, I'm sure. Thanks. 😀

I didnt have a premed committee but I filled out the info of every reviewer who sent a letter, but I think in that packet or online in the FAQ for KCUMB it talks about how to handle a committee type recco in those questions. Or give them a call, hard to get a hold of a counselor but they are very polite and helpful when you do. Good luck.

Hey, thanks for your reply. I checked the FAQ. It does talk about committee packets and what to do if you don't have one (i.e., substituting), but it doesn't specifically say what to list on the application if you do have one, ironically.

I think I'll just have to call them. I don't have a problem listing everyone, but it'll certainly take up some room.

So, does your school packet contain the required premed, science and physician evaluations? If so, you should be fine listing just your committee information and advisor. Otherwise, use questions #10 and #11 to send additional recomendation letters under a seperate cover. They just want a checklist to know what to expect in the mail to complete your application.

Exactly. If you are only using your school's premedical committee and this packet contains all of KCUMB's required letters of evaluation . . . then you are fine. Also, don't stress over occasionally calling a medical school to ask questions or clarify issues. Especially KCUMB, they are very helpful and nice. Get that supplemental in quickly! Good Luck.
