My subscription to Epocrates Pro is coming to an end and I have to decide if I want to renew it or not. I’ve used it for the past year and have liked it but it doesn’t blow me away. The subscription includes Rx, Dx, signs/symptoms (differential ddx), Labs, infectious dz and a bunch of extras. With the discount I pay somewhere around $100.

Has anyone switched from Epocrates to something else? What are your favorites that might replace this program?

tarascon pharmacopia works just fine for me. I got tired of carrying that pda around worrying that it might get stolen, dealing with dying batteries, taking a few secs to turn on so its just much easier to carry the little book in your front scrub pocket and look up the drugs. By this time, you'll already know most of the common drugs and dosages and most of that other stuff that comes with the subscription. If anything, the free version works just fine too.
