I dont post in this forum alot. the last time i did it was one of those what are my chances threads. My GPA right now is 3.2 and I made 1100 on my GRE. i just recieved my acceptance yesterday to Alabama State University DPT. it was the only school I applied to and my dream! for those of you who are nervous just keep believing in yourself because I had been doubting myself for months because they only accept 24 students. but i went to the school undergrad and I have alot of volunteer and work experience and those little things really help. good luck to all of those still waiting on acceptance letters

Congrats and thanks for sharing! Best of luck to you!

There is hope for everyone. If this is where your passion lies, when you get an interviews, it will show.

Good luck

yeah man, this is a tough year apparently. i applied to 5 schools and have only heard back from one, which unfortunately was my "backup." however, i will go there regardless bc its what i want to do and i'm convinced that academic success only plays a small role in how successful a PT you can become. its more about how passionate you are for the field, how willing you are to learn the profession, and how personable you are with patients. if you pass the exam and have the traits necessary to be good at the profession, im certain you can be as good if not better a PT than anyone who went to USC or Pitt.
