Keepin up grades, once accepted?

Hey whats up guys...quick question..i've gotten accepted to a couple schools..and sent in my acceptance and deposit to one of the schools...

Now, how high do I have to keep my grades? I've heard different things from different people..but I'm planning on going to Indiana..do I just have to maintain my gpa? (cuz it's set for the most part)..or do I have to get straight a's? Or just straight B's? I just want to know the truth..like "honestly..all you need to do is this"..etc.

honestly..all you need to do is call up the school and ask. That's my best advice for you. Give them a call and see what they say. I know that for some schools that if you're given an acceptance they require that you only maintain a 2.7GPA. But, every school is different in terms of what they expect from the students that they offer admissions. Good luck.

UPENN requires you to get at least a "C" in every class after acceptance.

Temple wants you to maintain a "B" average cumulative for all courses.

NOVA didn't require anything

U.Washington you must maintain a 0.7 average after acceptance, meaning you can get D-'s and still matriculate.

Tink: Getting into UW is an incredible feat. As all those who have interviewed there already. We're sweating bullets. one of the highest gpa and DAT scores around.

Acid: I know a good friend who got in last year, and she went to the admissions director and said: "I don't want to finish my degree in biology, I have 20 more credits to go, can I just matriculate without a degree." and the admission director told her that would be perfectly fine.

You have nothing to worry about. Usually if you get accepted to a state school their policies are much much more lax.

I have only one final left. And one assignment writing about my own funeral. 🙄 I'm not motivated to write about it. Who cares about it? i'm gonna donate my body anyway. Right now I can only think of getting into the best possible dental school out there. Forget about my funeral. 😛

Yup, i just failed my accouting test. I've been slackin off cuz of the interviews..etc. I dont know how i'm gonna get through next semester. I shoudl've just graduated this semester.. 🙁

haha..thanks guys for replying..im just a lil worried..but im tryin to take it chill..maybe only study for my final the night before..Indiana still requests that I send them my transcripts after graduation..is that for just so they know that I completed my education at college? Hopefully! and yah..i've been slacking big time..playing Halo on XBOX..last night..my friends and I had 3 tv's, 3 xbox's, and 4 people around each tv playing against each other...hmm..i wonder what they're all doin tonight 🙂

Yeah, i'm glad everyone is feeling the same way. I'm probably gonna take a break. I might start getting serious spring quarter when I take anatomy and histology in prep for dental school, lets hope i do.

Alright lets study for Neurobiology...NOT!!!

The mean is set at 3.5, so that means I can technically fail and get a 2.0. Wooo hoo, isn't it funny i spend more time calculating my grades than studying. Does anyone else do that??

Well finals week is here and I am keeping my promises, only studying the night before my final. That means only today (monday). UOP said they wanted all B's and above. and I am about to get a C in my GE class and a C in Physiology. sighhh are they SERIOUS when they say that? or I might still have chance of staying in. I am taking biochemistry as well as a pre-dental ceramics class with those classes. would they be at least a little lenient on that? sigh not a good place to be mannn. haha

who knows... call them and find out
