Keeping Maiden Name

My family would have made my life suck if my wife wouldn't had changed her last name. To the extent that it would be a show stopper for me...just not worth the stress. My wife ended up using her last name as her middle name.

My mom never changed hers. It depends on the couple I guess, whether it's a big deal for them.

I won't change mine because I work for a parent. My middle name is also my dads first name so that's not changing either. Our children will of course have my SO's last name.
