Hi! As we prepare for a mass incoming of secondaries starting this Friday, what are some strategies y'all / past applicants typically use to keep everything organized (ex. portals, secondary essays, etc).

I've never been an applicant but I cannot stress enough the importance of checking your email at least once a day including the "junk" file.

Hi! As we prepare for a mass incoming of secondaries starting this Friday, what are some strategies y'all / past applicants typically use to keep everything organized (ex. portals, secondary essays, etc).

Bookmark all of the portals so you can find them easier. After every secondary received, log in to the portal and copy/paste questions into a google doc. Organize the google doc with separate tabs for each school. Makes it easier to find specific schools and you can just share the entire doc with whoever you have review your essays.

Create a new email or a temp/throwaway address for your applications. Never share passwords; use two-factor authentication. Sign up for text notifications.

Google Docs tabs are fantastic.

One day per secondary; don't rush.

An excel sheet with deadlines and links will be your best friend. And sticky notes for good measure.
