I am an EM resident, but WSU has a very close affiliation with Kettering.
The benefit package is huge and very nice.
Hospital is very nice.
THe transitional year is heavy in IM and is well respected. It IS alot of work as the hospital is busy.
It always fills.
You will be well prepared.
Overall, it is not a cakewalk, but the environment is quite nice and the hospital is highly regarded.

Curious, BTW, what is the general feeling of the best hospital in Dayton (area)? I always grew up thinking that Kettering was the place to go. But has MVH kinda taken that spot, or no? Was I wrong from the beginning?

All of the hospitals have their strengths some have higher advertising budgets.
You may PM me if you wish...otherwise political answers will abound.
Most hospitals have some sort of residency affiliation (most in town being allopathic).
